It is Augmented Reality Creations Ltd’s policy (ARC) to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect from you across our mobile phone Application (the “Inplace”), our web-application (the “ARC Design”) and our website, collectively known as our “Services”. This policy applies to your use of our Services and Website. They are designed to help you better understand the information we gather from or about you through our Services and Website, how we protect the information once we gather it, how we may use it, and under what circumstances we may disclose it to third parties. We may occasionally make changes to this Privacy Policy, and you should review it periodically so that you are updated on any changes.
ARC Design
When visitors use ARC Design on our site, we collect their name and email for marketing purposes. We do not distribute this data to 3rd parties, and will only keep them while the data is of “legitimate interest” to our activities.
When ARC Design is used on other sites than our own, we collect name and email for marketing purposes. These are used by us to follow up users and encourage them to come back to the service and click “request a quote”. We will delete this data after a period of between 1 and 2 months from use.
When ARC Design is used on other sites than our own, and the user clicks “request a quote”, we process name, email, address and design choices, and pass to the owner of the website ARC Design is embedded in. We will not hold this information beyond a period of 1 to 2 months. The owner of the website ARC Design is embedded in must respect your privacy, must not pass your data to third parties, or store it beyond a period of “legitimate interest”. They may however use it for their own marketing purposes.
When ARC Design is hosted within your site, we will pass all information gathered on users to you. You must respect the privacy of these users, must not pass their data to third parties, or store it beyond a period of “legitimate interest”. You may use it for your own marketing purposes.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
3D files uploaded to the website will be kept until the project is completed, after pressing “complete project” the 3D model will be deleted.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Who we share your data with
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profiles. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information. We save your email and may send you emails to allow access to all our Services.
The last four digits of cards are retained for use in your account information.
In-app messaging is kept for 6 months for any disputes, it is then discarded following this.
All passwords are encrypted when stored so website administrators can not see or edit this information.

What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

Changes to our Privacy Policy
ARC reserves the right to alter the Privacy Policy at any time without notice, and the Privacy Policy is valid upon posting to the ARC website. You should review the Privacy Policy periodically so that you are updated on any changes.
